Bitwise Solana ETF Becomes First to Exceed $1 Billion in Assets

Bitwise's Solana staking fund, known as BSOL, has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, marking it as the first Solana ETF to achieve this milestone. As of August 26, the fund reported holding 9,332,360.79 SOL, with a market value of approximately $1.018 billion and net assets of $1.0175 billion, according to data from Glassnode.

In a notable trend for the Solana market, spot ETFs have experienced significant inflows, totaling $138 million over a recent ten-day period, which is the highest recorded stretch for this asset class. The peak inflow occurred on a single day, with $47 million entering the market on Tuesday.

BSOL leads a table of six Solana products tracked by Farside Investors, accounting for nearly 79% of the total cumulative net flow of $1.284 billion. In the latest session, the six products collectively attracted $56.1 million, with BSOL alone bringing in $40.2 million. Other products, such as Grayscale's GSOL and Fidelity's FSOL, also saw inflows of $6.2 million and $5.8 million, respectively.

BSOL offers direct exposure to SOL while incorporating staking features. The fund, which began trading on October 28, 2025, has reported that 96% of its assets are currently staked, yielding a net staking reward rate of 5.80%, slightly below its target of 100% staking.
