SemiAnalysis Set to Acquire Citrini for Estimated Valuation Near 100 Million USD
SemiAnalysis is reportedly in the process of acquiring Citrini, a company founded in 2023 that specializes in institutional research and operates a popular Substack newsletter. While the exact terms of the deal have not been disclosed, initial estimates suggested a transaction price of around 30 million USD, which has since been revised to nearly 100 million USD, although this figure remains speculative without insider confirmation.
Citrini has garnered significant attention, boasting over 260,000 subscribers and an estimated annual revenue of approximately 5.9 million USD. The company successfully completed a SAFE financing round of 5.05 million USD in December 2025, which, after accounting for an estimated 20% dilution, places its post-money valuation at about 25 million USD. This acquisition by SemiAnalysis could mark a significant expansion for both entities in the research sector.
