This drop follows a significant increase in benchmark Treasury yields and rising crude oil prices, which have raised concerns about inflation and potential interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve. The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield reached a 20-month high of nearly 4.79%, influenced by geopolitical tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.

The volatility of Strategy's stock is notable, with over 60 price movements greater than 5% recorded in the past year. Today's decline suggests that the market views the current economic conditions as impactful, though not fundamentally altering its perception of the company. Just eight days prior, the stock had gained 4.8% following the announcement of a $1.59 billion liquidity pool and a $2.01 billion equity raise aimed at strengthening its cash reserves.
