BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust Sees $149 Million in Inflows
On September 11, 2026, BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust, trading under the ticker ETHA, attracted approximately $149 million in net inflows. This figure accounted for nearly 69% of the total $216 million that flowed into U.S. spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on that day, further solidifying BlackRock's dominance in the Ethereum ETF market.
With this latest influx, ETHA's cumulative net inflows have surpassed $13 billion, contributing significantly to the total sector net assets, which now stand at around $16.3 billion. BlackRock's substantial share of this capital highlights its leading position in the Ethereum ETF space, a trend that mirrors its earlier success with its spot Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, launched in early 2024.
The recent surge in institutional investment in Ethereum through regulated vehicles continues a broader trend, with August 2026 alone seeing $1.75 billion in cumulative inflows across the Ethereum ETF sector. BlackRock's ETHA was responsible for over $1 billion of that total during a notable nine-day inflow streak. Additionally, in March 2026, BlackRock launched a staked Ethereum ETF, ETHB, allowing investors to earn yields on their holdings without the complexities of managing private keys or running validator nodes.
