Jito BAM Preconfirmations Launch to Enhance Revenue for Solana Validators

Jito Foundation has launched its BAM preconfirmations service on September 9, 2026, providing a new revenue stream for Solana validators. This low-latency transaction streaming service currently covers over 34% of Solana's network stake, thanks to partnerships with infrastructure providers Helius and Triton. The service allows validators to stream committed transaction data to traders and applications, enhancing speed and efficiency in the Solana ecosystem.

The BAM preconfirmations system introduces a three-way revenue split among validators, distribution partners, and the Jito Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). Distribution partners like Helius and Triton receive 30% of the revenue, while BAM validators earn 35% based on their stake weight. The remaining 35% is allocated to the Jito DAO treasury. Revenue generation for participating validators is anticipated to commence in October 2026.

The BAM system, which reached early mainnet status in September 2025, utilizes Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) to ensure privacy during transaction sequencing. This architecture separates transaction ordering from execution tasks, reducing the risk of harmful miner extractable value (MEV) while allowing validators to profit from their network position. The launch of preconfirmations is expected to benefit validators running BAM-compatible clients without requiring additional hardware, thereby creating a cost-effective revenue opportunity.
