The most popular YouTube creator Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, and his company Beast Industries entered into a multi-year partnership with Google, under which they will integrate Gemini AI directly into videos and the creative process.

The first joint video will be released on September 5, 2026: in it, MrBeast and his team will use Gemini during challenges in the jungle, the desert, and the Arctic. The partnership will also cover Google Health and the Fitbit Air device.

Donaldson became the first YouTube creator to surpass 500 million subscribers. Now Google plans to leverage his audience to show how generative AI can be used not only for individual tasks, but also directly in the creation of large-scale content.

Gemini Will Become Part of MrBeast’s Challenges

Participants in the video will compete to survive in three extreme environments — the jungle, the desert, and the Arctic. Gemini will be used for:

Identifying potential dangers
Navigating in difficult conditions
Responding to sudden weather changes
Helping participants complete the challenges

This way, AI will become not just part of an ad integration, but a direct tool in the storyline and task execution. In addition, MrBeast will appear in a new Gemini ad campaign, where he will show how he uses the app to organize large-scale stunts.

X Users Saw the Partnership as a Way to Promote AI

The announcement drew a positive reaction among X users. Entrepreneur and content creator Roberto Blake called the deal a win from a distribution standpoint.

“MrBeast’s partnership with Google Gemini is a distribution win. It’s also an onboarding strategy to get Gen Alpha and Gen Z to embrace Gemini AI tools. And guess what? It’s going to work,” he wrote.

Another user, Rob Villanueva, pointed out that Google is not just placing the Gemini logo in the video, but embedding the technology directly into the content’s ideas and storyline.

“Gemini ain’t out here trying to add yet another logo or yet another impression to their library, this is being baked into the ACTUAL ideas and and storytelling. Give MrBeast new tools and let him show people what they can do. That’s dope! Much more powerful than explaining it in an ad,” he noted.

User Zaman Hasan also called the partnership logical for both sides: Google gets access to one of the largest audiences on the internet, while MrBeast gets large-scale infrastructure and AI tools.

At the same time, one commentator joked that after the deal, “even surviving now needs a software update.”

Previously, MrBeast also expanded his footprint in the financial sector: his company, Beast Industries, acquired the fintech app Step, aimed at teens and young adults, with an audience of about 7 million users.

After the deal, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren voiced concerns about the possible introduction of cryptocurrencies and DeFi into the service, stressing that financial services for children must be provided “with great caution and in accordance with the law.”
