Standard Chartered Forecasted ARB to Rise to $10 by 2030

      • ARB could rise by nearly 66x, according to Standard Chartered’s forecast.
      • The bank expects the asset to reach $10 by 2030.
      • TradFi was named the main driver.

Standard Chartered has initiated coverage of the Arbitrum (ARB) token and set a price target of $10 by the end of 2030, The Block reports. At the time of writing, ARB was trading at around $0.1516, according to CoinMarketCap, meaning the forecast implies nearly a 66x increase.

The bank believes Arbitrum could outperform Bitcoin and Ethereum as traditional financial companies ramp up their use of blockchain infrastructure.

Arbitrum Could Generate Revenue From TradFi

Standard Chartered estimates that ARB could rise:

      • To $0.50 by the end of 2026
      • To $1.50 in 2027
      • To $3.50 in 2028
      • To $6.50 in 2029

For comparison, the bank forecasts Ethereum at $4,000 by the end of 2026 and $40,000 in 2030, and bitcoin at $100,000 and $500,000, respectively.

Standard Chartered’s head of digital assets research, Geoff Kendrick, ties Arbitrum’s valuation to the network’s role as infrastructure for traditional financial institutions moving assets onchain.

Under the Arbitrum Expansion Program, the network earns a fee equivalent to 10% of the net revenue of external networks that use its technology stack.

“We see digital assets transitioning from a state where revenue is not yet relevant to one where revenue is critical – Arbitrum’s business model is heavily focused on revenue, and as such, the ARB token should benefit,” Kendrick wrote.

Following the launch of Robinhood Chain on July 1, Standard Chartered estimates Arbitrum’s potential AEP revenue at around $5 million in September at the current pace. Robinhood Chain’s average daily revenue in the first two weeks of September was $2.8 million, while Arbitrum’s monthly revenue rose to more than five times its pre-launch level.

      Asset Tokenization and Forecast Risks

“The early success of Robinhood Chain increases the probability that similar TradFi chains will also launch via the Arbitrum tech stack, in our view. This raises the likelihood of future AEP fees,” Kendrick noted.

Another factor in the bank’s assessment was the growth of tokenized assets. Standard Chartered expects their volume to reach $4 trillion by the end of 2028, up from about $340 billion now, while tokenized equities could grow to $750 billion.

Among the risks to the forecast, the bank cited:

      • Slower growth in asset tokenization
      • Competition from other blockchains
      • The lack of a direct value-accrual mechanism for the ARB token
      • DTCC’s work on tokenized equities, and future regulatory changes in the US, including the CLARITY Act

At the time of writing, ARB had a market cap of around $1.01 billion, while Arbitrum’s total value locked in DeFi stood at $1.368 billion, according to DefiLlama. Over the past 24 hours, perpetuals trading volume on the network reached $1.857 billion, and the number of active addresses was 116,115.

At the same time, the Arbitrum ecosystem faced security issues throughout 2026. In April, the network froze 30,766 ETH worth about $71 million after an attack on KelpDAO, which later became the subject of a legal battle by Aave to return funds to users. In July, the AFX protocol on the Arbitrum network was hit by an attack worth $24.15 million, after which the attacker swapped the stolen USDC for 12,467.5 ETH.

Back in March 2025, Offchain Labs, the Arbitrum development team, began gradually buying ARB on the open market to top up its own reserves.
