Meta Launches Personal AI Assistant Muse, Focused on Daily Tasks and App Integration

PANews, September 9 – According to Bloomberg, Meta has launched a personal AI agent called Muse, which can perform tasks on behalf of users in the cloud, such as online shopping, buying movie tickets, booking classes, and filling out forms. It will initially be available to users aged 18 and above in the United States. Users can customize Muse's name and avatar, and authorize it to access applications including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Muse can continuously pursue set goals in the background. Meta stated that Muse uses an independent virtual machine architecture, with traceable operation records, and does not share data with the advertising system. Confirmation is required before sensitive operations such as payments. Muse offers a free version as well as paid tiers of $20 and $100 per month. It will later integrate more external services and be available on Meta's smart glasses.
