Nvidia Earnings Report Due On Aug 26: What To Expect?

Nvidia (NVDA) will release its fiscal second-quarter earnings report on August 26, 2026. The world’s most valuable company has reaped substantial benefits from the ongoing AI boom. Analysts anticipate NVDA’s stellar performance to continue in its upcoming quarterly earnings report as well. Let’s discuss what investors can exxpect.

Wall Street analysts remain bullish on Nvidia, with many anticipating revenue to nearly double year-over-year to about $91.5 billion to $92 billion. Meanwhile, analysts expect earnings per share (EPS) to come in at about $2.07 to $2.08. The bullish outlook is fueled by Nvidia’s rock-solid AI infrastructure and dominance in the chip manufacturing sector.

Nvidia (NVDA) also found endorsement form Elon Musk recently. During SpaceX’s earnings call, Musk said that the newly public company will build exclusively on Nvidia chips. Musk stated that Nvidia currently has the best hardware for AI computation. The move could play a vital role for the chip manufacturers expansion plans.

Nvidia also recently announced a strategic partnership with six of the biggest names in Wall Street; Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR. The partnership aims to raise more than $500 billion of third-party capital for building AI infrastructure. BlackRock CEO Larry Fink stated that the partnership has brought the world’s largest asset manager closer to the world’s most valuable company. Nvidia being backed by some of the biggest names in finance may also play into increased interest among investors.

      Are There Any Risks?

The AI wave has taken the world by storm. However, some analysts are skeptical about the growth. Among the most popular voices is Michael Burry, who famously predicted the 2008 financial crisis. Burry has been very public about his critique of the AI boom. The analyst has shorted major AI-based stocks, including Nvidia (NVDA).

There is also the case of the memory shortage. While AI chips have seen incredible demand, the shortage of memory chips has been a major concern for companies such as Nvidia (NVDA). The war between the US and Iran could also pose a threat to supply chains and stock prices could suffer the consequences.
