Ondo Finance's FXIon Token Surpasses 59,000 Holders

Ondo Finance's tokenized version of the iShares China Large-Cap ETF, known as FXIon, has reached over 59,000 holders across multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Solana. Despite its on-chain market cap of approximately $290,000, the token has seen a remarkable increase in its holder base, growing more than 9,000% within the first month of its launch in late July 2025.

Each FXIon token, trading at around $35 to $36, is backed 1:1 by shares of the underlying ETF, allowing non-US investors to gain exposure to major Chinese equities without the complexities of traditional brokerage systems. With an average holding of about $4.90 per holder, the token's structure facilitates access to significant equity markets for a broader audience.

The Ondo Stocks platform, which supports FXIon, has achieved over $1 billion in total value locked and $27 billion in cumulative trading volume since its launch in September 2025. The overall Ondo ecosystem has also seen growth, surpassing 200,000 total holders by mid-August 2026, indicating a rising trend in adoption of tokenized financial products. Founded in 2021, Ondo Finance aims to bridge the gap between traditional asset investment and the growing demand for tokenization among global investors.
