Robinhood Chain: a Guide to Activities With an Eye on an Airdrop

Robinhood Chain is a Layer 2 network by Robinhood, around which its own onchain ecosystem is gradually taking shape. We covered the network itself, how it works, and its role in the company’s strategy in a separate article:

After Robinhood Chain launched, the first apps and integrations began to appear on the network. These include both small new projects and major protocols like Uniswap, Morpho, and Lighter. That’s why it now makes sense not just to do a few transactions for the stats, but to spread your activity across different segments of the network.

In this guide, we’ll break down the main activities currently available: trading on DEXs and Perp DEXs, swaps, lending, and providing liquidity. The main goal is to build an interaction history with Robinhood Chain and individual protocols in case of future reward programs.

At the same time, it’s important to separate two scenarios. Robinhood has not yet confirmed the launch of its own token or an airdrop to network users. However, individual projects within Robinhood Chain are already rolling out their own incentive programs. For example, Lighter is running a campaign distributing 11 million LIT among users who earn points for trading activity.

For Incrypted+ members, software is also available that lets you automate part of your activity on Robinhood Chain.

      Perp DEX

As of the time of writing, Robinhood Chain has two protocols available for perpetual futures trading — Lighter and Arcus. We’ll start with Lighter, since a dedicated rewards program for network users is already live here.

      Lighter

After the TGE and the first major drop, the Lighter team expanded the project’s footprint and deployed the protocol on Robinhood Chain. At the same time, a separate promo campaign kicked off with a prize pool of 11 million LIT, which at the time of writing was worth about $50 million. Rewards are distributed among campaign participants who earn points for trading activity.

Important: if you have used Lighter before, to be active on Robinhood Chain you will need to create a new account.

      How to get started?

      1. Go to Lighter, connect your wallet, and open the Portfolio tab. To deposit, you will need USDG on the Robinhood Chain network.

Note: if the site won’t load, try using a VPN or a proxy.

      2. Make a deposit, then go to the Trade tab. Choose a trading pair, set up your position, and start trading. According to the terms outlined in the article, points are awarded for trading volume and holding a position.

      3. You can track the number of points you’ve earned and your ranking versus other participants in the Leaderboard tab.

      Arcus

The second protocol you can add to your activity is Arcus. It is a hybrid exchange from the creators of dYdX that combines spot and futures trading. At the time of writing, a significant part of the functionality is in closed beta.

So for now, the main task is to register in advance and secure a spot in the queue for full access.

      How to get started?

      1. Go to the Arcus website, connect your wallet and X account, and then sign up for the Waitlist.

      2. After registering, the service will show your place in the queue. When your turn comes up, your account will get access to the closed part of the platform.

Spot trading is already available without waiting for the Waitlist, so you can interact with the protocol even before you get full access.

      DEX aggregator

Several DEX aggregators are already live on Robinhood Chain, but for the purposes of this guide, the main one of interest is Rialto.

The project launched alongside the network’s mainnet release and was one of its exclusive partners, and it also does not have its own token.

      How to get started?

      1. Go to the website and connect your wallet.

      2. In the top-right corner, select the assets, enter the desired swap amount, and confirm the transaction.

Rialto supports swaps of RWA assets, which we will later use for the next type of activity — adding liquidity. In the example, we bought TSLA, but you can choose any other asset.

      Lending

For additional activity on Robinhood Chain, you can use Morpho. The project already has its own token, so you shouldn’t treat interacting with it as a separate potential airdrop. In this guide, Morpho is primarily used to diversify your onchain activity on the network.

      How to get started?

      1. Go to Morpho and connect your wallet.

      2. Open the Variable Rate section and choose one of the available pools.

      3. Go to the Lend tab, enter the amount, and confirm supplying the assets.

      4. At the bottom, on the Portfolio tab, you’ll be able to track your position.

      5. To withdraw funds, select the active position and go to the Withdraw section.

Additionally, Morpho lets you use deposited USDG as collateral and borrow against it. This is an activity that increases risk, as you need to factor in borrowing costs and the possibility of position liquidation.

      Adding Liquidity

Another activity option on Robinhood Chain is providing liquidity via Uniswap.

In this guide, we’ll add liquidity to a pair with the RWA asset TSLA, which we bought in the previous step via Rialto. Using TSLA specifically is optional — you can choose another available asset.

Please note that working with liquidity pools comes with additional risks. If you haven’t interacted with this tool before, we recommend first checking out our separate piece, where we break down how pools work and the key risks in detail:

      How to Add Liquidity?

      1. Go to Uniswap and connect your wallet.

      2. Open Explore and select Robinhood Chain from the network list.

      Select the network. Data: Uniswap.

      3. Go to the Stocks tab and select the RWA asset you previously purchased via Rialto. In our case, it’s TSLA.

      Select the asset. Data: Uniswap.

      4. Scroll down to the Pools section, choose a suitable pool, and click Add liquidity.

      Add liquidity. Data: Uniswap.

      5. Set the range and confirm adding liquidity.

      Set the range.  Data: Uniswap.

      6. You can find your position in the Pool tab. To withdraw funds, open the position and select Remove liquidity.

      Track the position. Data: Uniswap.

      Conclusion

As of this writing, the Robinhood team has not announced any plans to launch a separate token for Robinhood Chain. At the same time, there have been no statements confirming that the network definitely will not have its own token.

This raises a logical question: why would Robinhood need a separate token if the company is already public and its shares trade on the stock market? However, that status alone does not rule out a network token launch. On September 15, 2025, Base announced plans to launch its own token, even though Coinbase is also a public company with COIN shares traded on the stock market.

So it is still too early to completely rule out a similar scenario for Robinhood Chain.

Projects within the network itself are also of particular interest. As Robinhood Chain develops, its own incentive programs and airdrops from third-party protocols may appear here. The first concrete example is already here: Lighter launched a campaign for Robinhood Chain users with a distribution of 11 million LIT.

      Key points:

      • Robinhood has not yet announced its own token
      • the network token scenario can neither be confirmed nor ruled out
      • third-party projects on Robinhood Chain may run their own airdrops and reward programs
      • Lighter has already launched such a campaign
      • as the network develops, the number of potential activities will increase.

If you have any questions while completing the activities, you can ask them in our Telegram chat.
