ZachXBT: Revolut Suspected of Failing to Identify Fraudulent Request, Some Users' Personal Information Leaked

PANews, September 12 news, according to on-chain detective ZachXBT in a post on his personal channel, Revolut is suspected of failing to identify a fraudulent request, leading to the leakage of some users' personally identifiable information (PII). The leaked information includes copies of passports or driver's licenses and verification selfies, account statements, IBANs, withdrawal records, complete transaction history including Bitcoin transactions, as well as names, dates of birth, occupations, home addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers. ZachXBT stated that the number of users affected by this incident may be limited, but it is suspected to be targeting high-net-worth individuals. It is reported that several Revolut users received relevant security alert emails yesterday.
