Bitget Wallet Users Gain Access to 1,700 Tokenized US Stocks

On September 15, 2026, Bitget Wallet announced the integration of over 1,700 tokenized US stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) through a partnership with RealityFi. This development allows Bitget's user base of more than 100 million to trade shares of major companies such as Nvidia, Tesla, and Apple directly on-chain without the need for a traditional brokerage account.

The tokenized shares, referred to as rTokens, are backed 1:1 by actual shares held at Alpaca Securities, a registered broker-dealer in the United States. This integration enables users to access US equity markets from a self-custodial crypto wallet, with trades routed directly to live order flows on the Nasdaq and NYSE during US market hours. Additionally, dividends are automatically distributed in USDT, and corporate actions like stock splits are reflected in user accounts seamlessly.

However, it is important to note that rTokens are classified as unregistered securities under El Salvador's digital asset regulatory framework, which means they are currently available only to non-US persons in permitted jurisdictions. As a result, American users are excluded from participating in this offering. The majority of Bitget's users are located in Asia, Latin America, and Africa, regions where access to US equities has traditionally been limited.

The partnership with RealityFi marks a significant step in connecting traditional market dynamics with blockchain technology. RealityFi aims to provide a genuine market experience rather than creating synthetic alternatives, and this integration represents its largest distribution partnership to date, tapping into a vast user base from the outset.
