Coinbase and Webull Enhance Crypto Trading Partnership for 25 Million Users

Coinbase has expanded its partnership with Webull, integrating its Crypto-as-a-Service (CaaS) platform to enhance crypto trading capabilities for Webull's 25 million users globally. This collaboration replaces Webull's previous infrastructure with Coinbase's comprehensive services, including spot trading, custody, staking, and futures trading, marking a significant upgrade for the discount brokerage.

The integration, which began in June 2025, has already increased Webull's crypto offerings from a limited selection to approximately 101 supported tokens, with plans to expand to over 300. On October 30, 2025, Webull introduced futures contracts for popular cryptocurrencies such as Dogecoin, Solana, XRP, and Litecoin, utilizing Coinbase Derivatives, which are CFTC-cleared products.

Webull's decision to transition from Bakkt to Coinbase was influenced by Coinbase's status as a publicly traded company and its extensive suite of institutional services. This partnership allows Webull to leverage Coinbase's liquidity and compliance infrastructure while providing a regulated trading environment. The collaboration aims to prioritize scalability and risk management, ensuring a secure trading experience for retail investors.
