Cosmos Launches Partner Network to Streamline Digital Asset Infrastructure for Banks

On September 9, 2026, Cosmos introduced its Partner Network, a collaborative initiative aimed at facilitating the transition of banks from tokenization pilots to full-scale digital asset operations. The network features 17 founding partners, including BitGo, a regulated custody provider, which will help financial institutions navigate the complexities of establishing digital asset infrastructure more efficiently.

The Partner Network offers a pre-integrated ecosystem that combines Cosmos's Tokenization Suite and digital ledger technology with essential services such as custody, compliance, and payment settlement. This streamlined approach allows banks to avoid the cumbersome process of assembling multiple vendors, enabling them to implement tokenized deposits, payment settlements, and treasury management more swiftly.

BitGo, which is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker BTGO, plays a crucial role in the network by providing a broad range of services, including custody, wallets, and trading. This comprehensive offering allows banks to meet various operational needs through a single relationship, reducing the need for multiple procurement processes and fostering scalability as banks expand their digital asset initiatives.

The launch of the Cosmos Partner Network is significant for the banking sector, as it lowers the coordination costs associated with adopting digital assets at an institutional level. By simplifying vendor relationships and integration, the network aims to accelerate the adoption of tokenization within the financial industry, while the involvement of a publicly listed company like BitGo enhances transparency and accountability in the evolving digital asset landscape.
