Cultural Token LAPTOP Launched on Base Blockchain

The Phoenix Veritas Foundation has announced the launch of a new cultural token named LAPTOP, themed around Hunter Biden's laptop, on the Base blockchain. The total supply of LAPTOP is set at 1 billion tokens, with an initial circulating supply of 350 million tokens, representing 35% of the total, available at the token generation event (TGE).

Token distribution is structured with 30% allocated to the founders, including Hunter Biden, and another 30% designated for a prediction mechanism. Additionally, 20% is reserved for community airdrops, while liquidity and the foundation's treasury each receive 10%. Charitable distribution accounts for the remaining 5%. Notably, the founders' tokens will be subject to a 6-month lock-up period followed by a 24-month linear unlocking schedule.

LAPTOP is characterized as a cultural digital collectible without any utility, meaning its value will be determined solely by community sentiment. The token contract underwent a security audit by Hacken in April 2026, which found no major vulnerabilities. Furthermore, the foundation has established lending agreements for 20.5 million tokens with market-making firms G20 and GSR.
