Pons Founder Clarifies: Tax Rate Cannot Be Changed After Token Launch, High Tax Rate Is Due to Terminal Routing Error

PANews, September 9 – Pons founder Ozzy posted on X platform to clarify that the tax rate on the Pons platform cannot be changed after token issuance. He pointed out that some terminals route transactions to high-tax pools due to routing configuration issues, while the pool initialized by Pons on Uniswap V4 not only has liquidity but is also a 0% tax pool, charging only a 1% Hook fee. When malicious actors attempt a "vamp" attack on this pool, the terminal may display an increased tax rate, but the actual tax rate of the Pons pool has not changed. Ozzy has requested the relevant terminals to fix this issue and reminded users that if they see a fee exceeding 1%, it means they have been routed to the wrong pool.
