Zhao Changpeng Highlights YZi Labs' Promising Investments in Cryptocurrency

Binance founder Zhao Changpeng has expressed optimism regarding YZi Labs' recent investments, suggesting they may yield significant returns. He noted that the firm made strategic investments during a downturn in the cryptocurrency market, positioning them to benefit as prices recover.

In 2026, YZi Labs has made several notable investments. In January, they invested in the on-chain trading terminal Genius and the digital asset custodian BitGo. March saw them lead a $52 million investment in RoboForce and contribute $1 million to Atlas Scout. April brought further investment in the prediction market Predict.fun, while May featured an $8 million seed round investment in the AI agent payment settlement layer AEON. Their latest investment in August was in the cross-chain fixed-rate lending platform TermMax.

Changpeng pointed out that the growing influx of funds into artificial intelligence is impacting short-term cryptocurrency projects. He believes that as AI funds begin to flow back into digital assets, the market may see a resurgence. Despite Bitcoin's recent rebound following a significant drop, it remains below its October highs.
