Zhou Guren Identified as Major Financier of Trump Family Cryptocurrency Project

Aqua 1 Foundation, an investment firm based in the UAE, has invested $100 million in WLFI tokens, a cryptocurrency initiative linked to the family of U.S. President Donald Trump. This investment surpasses the previous total of $75 million contributed by Sun Yuchen, making Aqua 1 the largest buyer of these tokens.

Zhou Guren, born in Shanghai in 1984, has been identified as the actual controller of Aqua 1 Foundation and the primary financier behind the WLFI token purchase. His financial background has raised concerns, as he is currently listed as a dishonest person on China's information disclosure website, with debts totaling tens of millions across multiple legal cases.

In addition to his financial troubles, Zhou Guren is implicated in a money laundering case in the UK, as indicated by a recent indictment from the UK Crown Prosecution Service. Furthermore, he is the legal representative of a Shanghai timber company that has been linked to a smuggling case in China.
