Binance Distributes Dividends for Applied Materials Tokenized Stock

Binance has initiated the distribution of dividends for its tokenized stock of Applied Materials, known as AMATB, directly into the Spot Wallets of token holders. This distribution is part of Binance's ongoing bStock initiative, which aims to integrate traditional US equities with blockchain technology, allowing crypto investors to trade these assets around the clock without the need for a brokerage account.

Holders of AMATB tokens who maintained their holdings before the record date of August 20, 2026, will receive additional AMATB tokens as dividends. The dividend corresponds to Applied Materials' quarterly cash payout of $0.53 per share, marking a 15% increase from the previous dividend of $0.46. The payment date for these dividends is set for September 10, 2026.

Each AMATB token is fully backed by actual shares of Applied Materials held by a US-regulated broker-dealer, providing holders the option to convert their tokens into physical shares if desired. This tokenization process not only enhances liquidity but also broadens access to Applied Materials' stock for global crypto investors, as the company is a leading manufacturer of semiconductor equipment. Binance has previously launched similar tokenized equity products for other major companies, including Microsoft and Apple, which have also utilized the Spot Wallet for dividend distributions.
