Funded Protocol Launches Decentralized Prop Trading on Robinhood Chain
Funded Protocol has launched a decentralized prop trading infrastructure on Robinhood Chain, marking a significant development in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. This protocol allows users to invest capital into prop trading setups and earn yields from the trading activities, effectively transforming the traditional prop trading model into an on-chain format. Users can now allocate their capital to these setups, with the blockchain managing accounting and profit distribution through smart contracts.
Robinhood Chain, which went live on July 1, 2026, is built on Arbitrum technology as an Ethereum Layer 2 network. It focuses on tokenized real-world assets and supports ERC-20-compatible stock tokens backed at a 1:1 ratio by underlying securities. The chain is designed for high-frequency trading, featuring block times of approximately 100 milliseconds and low transaction fees, which are crucial for prop trading operations. The initial ecosystem includes partners like Uniswap for public trading and Pleiades for institutional trading venues.
Funded Protocol's native token, FUND, is already available on decentralized exchanges such as Uniswap and Flap. However, as of late August 2026, there are no verified figures regarding the total value locked or user engagement for the protocol. The early activity appears to be focused on token trading rather than broader institutional or retail adoption. The yield from Morpho's lending products on Robinhood Chain, which is around 7% APY, may serve as a benchmark for evaluating the performance of Funded Protocol's trading model.
