MemeToro Crypto Presale Publishes First Fair-Launch Escrow…

      Key Facts

      • MemeToro has published the first draft of its FairLaunchEscrow smart contract.
      • The $MT presale has reached $124,513.
      • The draft contains no owner role, admin function or upgrade path.
      • Contributed funds route only to liquidity creation or refunds — not to a developer or treasury.
      • Testnet deployment and an independent security review are still outstanding.
MemeToro has released the first draft of its FairLaunchEscrow smart contract as the $MT presale reaches $124,513, giving the project's proposed fair-launch model its first executable contract layer.Public development to date had focused on the AI system that collects signals and turns them into memecoin proposals. The new code begins implementing what happens after a proposal is accepted: collecting funds under predetermined rules, and constraining what can be done with them afterwards.

Rules fixed before the money arrives

The FairLaunchEscrow.sol contract is built around one principle — the rules set when a funding round is created cannot later be edited by an administrator. The current draft contains no owner role, no admin function and no upgrade path. The escrow also stores a fingerprint of the launch manifest attached to a round, intended to let contributors verify that the rules executing on-chain match what was published before funding opened. Funding is fixed-rate, meaning contributors participate under the same pricing structure rather than separate insider tiers.A second constraint sits in the token maths. The contract requires contributor allocation and liquidity allocation to account for the entire supply, which prevents an additional founder allocation being inserted inside the escrow model.

      Two exits for contributed funds

The contract restricts contributed funds to two routes. If a launch proceeds, funds move into the execution process intended to create liquidity. If the required conditions are not met, contributors can claim refunds. The draft provides no route for sending contributed funds directly to a developer or treasury.Finalisation, claims and refunds are designed not to depend on MemeToro remaining online. Eligible actions can be triggered publicly, and refunds become available when a launch misses its conditions. The release also includes interfaces for the eventual launch executor and ERC-20 interactions, plus fake implementations used in testing.

      Testing for the failure paths

The accompanying test suite examines contribution caps, deadlines, thresholds, claims and refunds rather than exercising only the happy path. Randomised action sequences check accounting invariants — whether users can withdraw more than they contributed, or whether balances stop matching expected totals. The update comprises 1,373 new lines across 17 files, alongside revised architecture documentation and contributor rules. The code is published on GitHub for review.

      What is not finished yet

Several components remain incomplete, and MemeToro says so directly. The real token deployment and liquidity step is currently represented by a placeholder executor, and the AI agent does not yet generate the manifest fingerprint the escrow consumes. BNB Chain testnet deployment and an independent security review both remain ahead. That last item matters most for anyone weighing participation. Unaudited contract code is where the large losses in this category originate, and a formal audit process typically runs through automated analysis, manual review, severity classification, remediation and final verification before deployment. A published draft is the start of that process rather than the end of it.

Risk warning. Presale tokens are high-risk and illiquid, and contributors can lose the full amount committed. MemeToro states that its escrow contract is a first draft, that the token deployment and liquidity step is a placeholder, and that testnet deployment and an independent security review have not yet taken place. Nothing here is investment advice; see FinanceFeeds' guidance on risk management for pre-sale crypto before committing funds.

      Frequently asked questions

Can the rules change after a round opens?

Not in the current draft. There is no owner role, admin function or upgrade path, and the escrow stores a fingerprint of the published launch manifest.

      Where can contributed funds go?

Two places only — into the liquidity creation process if the launch proceeds, or back to contributors as refunds if conditions are not met.

      Has the contract been audited?

No. MemeToro says an independent security review and BNB Chain testnet deployment are still ahead.

MemeToro is developing an open-source memecoin platform for BNB Chain, combining AI-generated proposals, evidence-linked launch manifests, fixed-rate funding and public smart contracts intended to enforce the published terms. More at memetoro.com, X and Telegram, or contact@memetoro.com.
