NoOnes Cryptocurrency Platform to Gradually Cease Operations Due to Sanctions

NoOnes, a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency trading platform, announced plans to gradually shut down its operations after more than three years in business. The decision comes in response to sanctions that have severely impacted the platform's ability to function normally. In an official statement, NoOnes indicated that efforts to resolve the sanctions were unsuccessful, leading to the loss of key partnerships and the classification of its transactions as high risk by blockchain monitoring agencies.

The shutdown process began on August 17, with the P2P market set to close on August 21 at 23:59 UTC. Additional services, including Swap, NoOnes Visa, fiat withdrawals, gift card store, and Bitcoin Lightning Network, will also be phased out. Following the closure, the platform will only allow users to withdraw their assets, while they can still log in and check their balances. Users are advised to complete their withdrawals by August 23 to avoid complications.

This announcement follows a significant security breach earlier this year, which resulted in the loss of approximately $8 million in crypto assets. CEO Ray Youssef confirmed the breach after it was disclosed by on-chain detective ZachXBT.
