XDC Network Achieves Record 27.7 Million Monthly Transactions

XDC Network has reached a new milestone by processing 27.7 million transactions in July 2026, marking a 50% increase over the previous six months. This surge has propelled the network's total lifetime transactions past the 1 billion mark since its mainnet launch in June 2019.

The XDC Network is designed primarily for enterprise applications, focusing on trade finance, real-world asset tokenization, and compliance with ISO 20022 for interoperability with traditional banking systems. With a throughput capacity of up to 2,000 transactions per second and an average finality time of around six seconds, the network is currently operating well below its theoretical capacity, averaging 18.7 transactions per second in July.

Significant developments include the processing of over $1.3 billion in USDC transactions, establishing the network as a reliable settlement option for institutions. Additionally, XDC has introduced vLEI technology to enhance trade finance operations, allowing companies to verify their corporate identities on-chain. The addition of notable organizations such as Animoca Brands and NTT DOCOMO GLOBAL to its validator set further indicates the network's growing recognition as a robust infrastructure for enterprise use.
