Fraud Gang Hijacks Website to Launch Malicious GOLD Tokens

GoPlus Security has issued a warning regarding a fraud gang that has taken control of the realtrumpcoins[.]com website and the associated Twitter account @realtrumpcoins1. The group has been responsible for the malicious issuance of GOLD tokens, which they inflated to a market value of approximately $60 million before executing a Rug Pull, resulting in profits exceeding $8.2 million.

Investigations into the incident reveal that the initial funds for the developers can be traced back to a hot wallet linked to KuCoin. Additionally, 15 trading wallets involved in the scheme were funded by hot wallets associated with Binance. All transactions were conducted through a single malicious routing contract, raising concerns about the security of these platforms.

In a related development, the gang has also launched another fraudulent meme coin, Trump Digital Platinum (PLATINUM). GoPlus Security has cautioned users against purchasing this token, as its contract is designed to allow the developers to empty any holder's balance at any time, further highlighting the risks associated with these malicious activities.
