Rillet Achieves Unicorn Status with $1 Billion Valuation After Series C Funding

Rillet, an AI-native accounting platform, has reached unicorn status with a valuation of $1 billion following a successful $100 million Series C funding round. The funding, which closed recently, was led by ICONIQ and included participation from notable investors such as Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and Bain Capital Ventures, among others. This marks Rillet's third fundraising effort in approximately a year, bringing its total funding to over $200 million.

Founded by Nicolas Kopp, who previously managed U.S. operations for the digital bank N26, Rillet aims to serve venture-backed startups in the Series A to D range. The platform offers a real-time general ledger with automated workflows powered by Aura AI agents, designed to streamline financial operations for companies that have outgrown traditional accounting tools like spreadsheets and QuickBooks.

Rillet's integrations with platforms such as Stripe, Ramp, and Salesforce enhance its appeal by providing seamless data management for revenue, expenses, and customer relationship management. The company has also received a five-star rating on G2, making it the only ERP to achieve this distinction on the platform. The $1 billion valuation signals confidence from investors in Rillet's potential to compete with established accounting software providers as startups face increasingly complex financial operations.
