Securitize's Market Cap on Avalanche Reaches $770 Million Amid Significant Growth

Securitize, a tokenization platform that recently went public on the New York Stock Exchange, has reported a remarkable increase in the market capitalization of its assets on the Avalanche blockchain, reaching approximately $769.9 million. This figure represents a staggering 628.4% growth, making Securitize the leading issuer of tokenized assets on Avalanche, which now accounts for nearly half of the blockchain's total real-world asset (RWA) market cap, nearing an all-time high of about $1.7 billion.

The surge in Securitize's market cap follows its strategic move earlier this year to list on the NYSE under the ticker SECZ through a $400 million SPAC merger. The firm also tokenized between $266 million and $295 million of its common stock on both Avalanche and Solana. The valuation of Securitize's assets on Avalanche varies between $737 million and $804 million, depending on the data source and timing.

Avalanche's RWA market has seen significant growth, increasing from $242 million in 2023 to approximately $1.93 billion by mid-August 2026, with Securitize being the largest contributor to this expansion. The platform's unique subnet architecture allows for the creation of customized blockchain environments with built-in compliance rules, providing a technical advantage for regulated securities. However, this concentration of value poses both opportunities and risks for Avalanche, as Securitize's performance directly impacts the blockchain's overall market.
