Circle’s Arc Mainnet Goes Live as Meme-Token Trading EmergesUSDC issuer Circle launched Arc’s public mainnet on Sept. 16, with the Layer 1 blockchain using USDC for transaction fees. Meme-token activity has also emerged on the network. Argus, a popular token launchpad, reported $155.78 million in rolling 24-hour trading volume and $228.54 million in cumulative volume, according to its dashboard snapshot at 12:35 UTC.
