International Cyber Digest said it contacted the hacker claiming responsibility for the Revolut breach, who alleged the operation ran for about six months and used compromised Italian law-enforcement systems to send fraudulent data requests to Revolut. The attacker also claims to have stolen roughly 147 GB of Italian law-enforcement data and said the Revolut records primarily involve customers in Switzerland and France, alongside users in the UK, Germany, Italy and other countries, including several high-profile individuals.
