Jiangsu Company Warned for Security Violations in API Relay Operations

The Cyberspace Administration of China has issued a warning to a technology company based in Jiangsu for failing to conduct necessary security assessments on its API transit station. On September 15, the Internet Administration of China revealed that the company operated two websites utilizing an API relay station to access various large model product interfaces, offering services such as dialogue and Q&A without adhering to required safety protocols.

This violation poses significant content safety risks and contravenes the "Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services" among other regulations. In response, the local internet information office mandated immediate rectification, imposed strict penalties on those responsible, and formally issued a warning to the company.

The case is linked to the large model relay platform "Zhixin Token," launched by Jiangsu Biying Technology, a subsidiary of Suning.com, in July 2026. This platform aggregates multiple mainstream large models to provide a unified API service through two service domain names, raising concerns about compliance with internet safety regulations.
