Pump.fun Achieves $10 Million Weekly Revenue, Surpassing Hyperliquid

Pump.fun, a memecoin launchpad based on the Solana blockchain, has reported over $10 million in weekly protocol fees for the first time during the week of August 3-9, 2026. This milestone marks a significant achievement for the platform, which has seen its 7-day revenue reach approximately $12 million, placing it third among all tracked decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, behind only Tether and Circle.

In the 30-day revenue comparison, Pump.fun generated $35.67 million, outpacing Hyperliquid's $32.46 million. This follows a period in late July through August where Pump.fun consistently led the revenue rankings, peaking at $42.3 million compared to Hyperliquid's $28.5 million. Daily revenue figures also highlight this trend, with Pump.fun earning $1.21 million on July 23, while Hyperliquid earned $1.03 million on the same day.

Since its launch in 2024, Pump.fun has accumulated over $1.2 billion in total revenue. The platform's revenue model includes a buyback and burn mechanism for its PUMP tokens, where half of its earnings are used to buy back and burn tokens, contributing to a deflationary model. In contrast, Hyperliquid, which focuses on institutional trading, maintains a Total Value Locked of approximately $6 billion, significantly higher than Pump.fun's $250 million.
