      Financial Stocks Show Gains in Afternoon Trading

      Financial stocks experienced an uptick in Monday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index increasing by 0.7%. The State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) also saw a rise of 1%. Additionally, the Philadelphia Housing Index rose by 0.1%, while the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) gained 0.2%.

      In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin rose by 1.6%, reaching a value of $78,957. Meanwhile, the yield on 10-year US Treasuries decreased by 4.6 basis points, settling at 4.692%.

      In corporate developments, Strategy (MSTR) announced the establishment of USD Cash, a liquidity pool for future bitcoin treasury purposes, leading to a 2.6% increase in its shares. Ares Management (ARES) was involved in a $400 million private credit loan deal for CVC Capital Partners' acquisition of a stake in Chess.com, though its shares fell by 1.4%. Zillow (Z) reported the resolution of a lawsuit with the US Federal Trade Commission and five states regarding its partnership with Redfin, resulting in a 2% rise in its shares.
